Over The Sea To Skye is a barrel-aged oat stout from Cuillin Brewery on the Isle of Skye. This rich stout spent 90 days maturing in casks from the Isle of Raasay distillery, lending it a distinctive character. At 7% ABV, it delivers a full body with subtle smoke and chocolate notes. The aroma is lightly smoky and malty, with hints of milk chocolate. On the palate, the soft, rounded character of oats balances nicely with the woody influence of barrel aging. The finish is clean and dry, with a pleasant lingering warmth.
