About
Jai Alai is named after the fast-paced Basque sport that once thrived in Tampa. Cigar City Brewing crafts this American IPA with six hop varieties—Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, CTZ, Motueka and Simcoe—delivering bold citrus character throughout. A bouquet of tangerine and candied orange peel greets the nose, followed by clementine and Valencia orange on the palate. The bitterness sits in perfect balance, supported by a clean yeast profile and restrained malt bill that lets the hops shine. At 7.5% ABV, the beer drinks remarkably smooth without any alcohol warmth. The result is a crisp, hop-forward IPA with tropical pine notes and a lingering citrus finish.
