About
Canediguerra's Vienna Lager pays homage to one of Europe's most classic beer styles. This amber-coloured lager is traditionally bottom-fermented and defined by its clean, mild character. Delicate hopping creates space for subtle caramel notes, resulting in an approachable beer despite its moderate alcohol content. The style itself originated in 1841, when Austrian brewer Anton Dreher developed a revolutionary process using higher drying temperatures for the malt. Vienna Lager survived through Austrian immigrant brewers in Mexico, before being rediscovered by American craft breweries in recent decades.
