Duinmannetje is Callantsoger Bier's debut, launched in March 2019 in Callantsoog, a coastal village in the Netherlands. This approachable Pale Ale at 4% ABV balances fresh hop character with solid malt backbone, and features a touch of sea buckthorn for distinction. The amber-hued beer pours with a full white head. The nose reveals caramel, bread, and subtle resinous hop notes. On the palate, sweetness and caramel lead, with the sea buckthorn adding a refreshing edge. An easy-drinking, friendly beer that honours the dunes of its hometown.
