Arraun is an amber ale from Basqueland Brewing Project, the craft brewing collective based in Hernani in the Basque Country. This is a beer with serious personality: a robust malt structure built from six different malts, including crystal malt that gives its characteristic amber colour. The nose offers passion fruit and leather notes. On the palate, malty flavours dominate, complemented by Simcoe hops added in dry-hopping. This delivers pine resin and citrus nuances that balance the beer perfectly. A beer crafted for drinking alone, with rich maple and coffee undertones.
