Bokkelul is the seasonal Bock from Amsterdam's Brouwerij de Eeuwige Jeugd, a brewery known for its irreverent beer names and distinctive character. This ruby-hued beer appears only during the darker months of the year. The malt profile is immediately recognisable, with caramel, toffee and autumn fruit notes complemented by subtle hints of clove and smoke. On the palate, caramel and nut flavours emerge with a light bitterness that sits in pleasant balance. The finish brings a touch more caramel before closing cleanly. At 6.5% ABV, Bokkelul carries enough body and warmth without feeling heavy.
