The Drentsch Oerbier de Megaliet emerged from a distinctive experiment: a single 2000-litre base batch was divided into five different fruity variants, showcasing the brewery's creative approach. As a top-fermented beer with bottle conditioning, it carries Van Steenberge's hallmark: living, artisanal character. At 5% ABV, it offers approachable strength. The brewery, established in 1784 in Ertvelde and now in its sixth generation, specialises in beers that develop their personality over time.
