The nose reveals roasted malt, coffee and chocolate with hints of caramel. On the palate, coffee and dark chocolate dominate, complemented by subtle notes of red fruit and caramel. A smooth texture with mousse-like foam gives the whole a luxurious character. This beer won the title 'Best Heavy Beer of Noord-Holland' in 2019. The combination of roastiness, sweetness and fruitiness pairs well with rich fish, spiced dishes and meat.
