Rodenbach Red Tripel celebrates 200 years of Brouwerij Rodenbach, launched in 2021. This distinctive blend marries a Belgian Tripel with a Flemish Red-Brown ale aged for two years in oak, creating a bright copper-coloured beer that balances both styles. The brewery's signature mixed fermentation and wood maturation bring together the fruity warmth of the tripel with the subtle acidity and complexity of the aged red ale. Sweet pale malts form the base, complemented by gooseberry, green apple and vinegar notes. The palate is fairly sweet with a light, oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation that adds elegance without harshness. At 8.2% ABV, it finishes warm and rounded, rewarding contemplative sipping from a tulip or goblet.
