Brouwerij Pronck, founded in 2014 by two Leiden-based beer enthusiasts, developed the Salted Caramel Milk Stout as their debut dessert beer. This dark brown to nearly black stout weaves together milk, house-made caramel and sea salt into a balanced composition where no single element dominates. At 5% ABV, it remains approachable despite its rich flavour profile. The sea salt provides a distinctive counterpoint to the caramel sweetness, creating an unconventional twist on the classic milk stout.
