Kazematten Epica is a collaboration between Brouwerij Kazematten and Dutch band Epica. This 5.4% pilsner is brewed in the historic casemates beneath Ypres' ancient ramparts, where two brewing families joined forces to create something distinctive. The recipe combines pilsner malt, Saaz hops and flaked maize into a silky, approachable beer. Its character rests on a clear biscuit malt backbone, supported by a gentle honey note. Citrus and subtle spice add complexity without heaviness, making it an easy-drinking beer that rewards attention.
