HN.03 is a Black IPA from Brouwerij Hoorns Nat, a microbrewery rooted in the historic port town of Hoorn in the Netherlands. This beer earned a silver medal at the Dutch Beer Challenge 2019, reflecting the skill of local brewers Henri, Rick and Rob. Dark malts deliver a complex character with notes of roasted grain, chocolate and coffee, balanced against assertive hop bitterness typical of the IPA style. The beer bridges the depth of dark malts with the forward-facing hop intensity expected from an Imperial IPA.
