Kielzog is a tripel brewed in Amsterdam by Brouwerij Homeland, created in collaboration with chef Jerrey from Pension Homeland. It was among the brewery's first beers when they began in 2016. The recipe features coriander seed, fennel seed and orange peel, delivering a distinctive spiced character. The beer is fermented with a special yeast strain and enzyme, resulting in zero residual sugar and a clean, dry finish. Light caramelised malts combine with the herbal botanicals and subtle anise notes from fermentation. The aftertaste is bitter and dry, making it well-suited to spiced cuisine.
