Halve Tamme Derailed Fruit Train emerged from an ambitious brewing experiment: a single 2000-litre base beer split into five distinct fruity variants. This 7.5% ABV sour ale is the result of collaboration between Zevenbergen's nano-brewery Halve Tamme and Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo. The playful name captures the chaotic spirit of the project – a fruit-laden train gone off the rails. The beer marries the tartness and complexity of a fermented sour with fruity notes developed through the brewing process.
