Piece of Cake #2 is an Imperial Stout from Frontaal Brewing Company in Breda, Netherlands, at a robust 11.5% ABV. This is no ordinary stout, but a pastry variant born from a collaborative experiment: one base batch of 2,000 litres was split into five distinct fruity editions in partnership with Brouwerij Brouwersnös. The aroma leads with cherry syrup and dark chocolate. On the palate, a full and viscous body unfolds with prominent vanilla, chocolate and cherry notes, layered with subtle rum character. The finish is long and intensely sweet, holding true to the pastry stout philosophy. The interplay of roasted malt, dark chocolate and candied fruit creates a beer designed for contemplation—embodying Frontaal's 'Beer for Thought' ethos.
