A Blessing in Disguise is a Cinnamon Brown Ale from Brouwerij Frontaal, based in Breda. This beer emerged from an ambitious brewing experiment: a single 2000-litre batch of base beer was crafted into five distinct fruited variants. The result is a dark brown ale with a pleasant warm character, shaped by roasted malts and the addition of cinnamon. Dark malt, caramel and cinnamon aromas lead the nose. These same elements carry through the palate, with roasted malts providing depth while cinnamon adds a spicy warmth. At 5.5% ABV, the beer offers a full, gently sweet body without heaviness.
