Eilandje is a tropical hop showcase from Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie, an independent Belgian brewery reviving Antwerp's forgotten brewing heritage. This New England IPA features powerful aromatic hops—El Dorado, Cashmir, and Sabro—added during fermentation and maturation, delivering a fruity, floral character without harsh bitterness. The aroma opens with mango, melon, and coconut, followed by waves of tropical fruit and citrus. On the palate, it drinks smooth and creamy, almost sweet, making it approachable for those who typically avoid bitter beers. The finish is clean and dry with a pleasant lingering note.
