Egmontsch Pilsener is an organically brewed pilsner from Brouwerij Egmond, the Netherlands' only Benedictine abbey brewery. Brewed under licence from Egmond Abbey, it uses certified organic pilsner and carahell malt, complemented by linden blossom in the brewing process. The beer shows a malty sweetness balanced by crisp, refreshing character. Fruity and grassy notes emerge alongside subtle spice, with a clean hop bitterness in the finish. At 5% ABV, this approachable pilsner pairs well with lighter fare such as grilled fish.
