Jubileeuw was the special beer brewed by Brouwerij De Witte Leeuw in Wezep to celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2015. This ambitious project began with a single base batch of 2000 litres, from which Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo successfully created five distinct fruity variants. At 9% ABV, Jubileeuw embraces a double IPA character, balancing hop bitterness with fruity and spicy notes. The beer is marked by pleasant fruit character, complemented by coriander and subtle hop bitterness, creating a drinkable profile despite its elevated alcohol content. This limited release has since been discontinued, making Jubileeuw a noteworthy chapter in Dutch brewing history.
