About
Hoegaarden Wit is the original Belgian witbier from the Flemish village of Hoegaarden, where monks experimented with unusual botanicals as far back as 1445. In 1966, local milkman Pierre Celis revived the historic recipe and saved the witbier style from extinction. This approachable witbier is brewed with a blend of barley malt and unmalted wheat, enriched with coriander seed and dried Curaçao orange peel. The result is a light, crisp beer with a soft yellow haze and a mild aroma where citrus and spice notes emerge gently. Hoegaarden Wit suits long social sessions and warm days, with a welcoming 4.9% ABV.
