Straffe Hendrik Heritage is an annual limited release from Brouwerij De Halve Maan in Bruges. This dark quadrupel at 11% ABV matures for a minimum of one year in oak barrels of various origins, allowing barrel tannins to meld with the rich notes of specialty malts. The beer features aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops alongside complex yeast character, yielding a full-bodied, warming flavour profile. On the palate, Heritage reveals dark fruit, warm spices, and subtle red wine nuances derived from oak aging.
