About
Brugse Zot Dubbel is the robust counterpart to the blonde ale from De Halve Maan, a family brewery rooted in Bruges since 1856. At 8.5% ABV, this is a proper dubbel that demands respect and contemplation. Brewed with six distinct malt varieties, it presents a dark brown colour with ruby-red undertones. The nose reveals honey, almond and chocolate. On the palate, warmth and body dominate, balanced by gentle bitterness and the sweet character of the malt bill. Its approachable drinkability belies its strength, making it easy to underestimate.
