Selfish Session is the debut beer from Brouwerij De Feniks, a microbrewery in Heule, West Flanders. Born from a personal brewing project by founders Kurt and Gino during their brewery renovation, this unfiltered, uncentrifuged blonde ale showcases the house yeast's distinctive character. The name reflects its selfish origins—brewed purely for the brewers' enjoyment while they worked. At 6.7% ABV and 25 IBU, it delivers a sturdy body with fruity and sweet undertones balanced by a gentle bitter finish. The top fermentation and robust malt profile give it substance without heaviness, making it both refreshing and flavourful.
