Brouwerij Breugem's Compliment is a refreshing witbier with saison influences, blending the light spicy character typical of saison fermentation with the soft, fruity notes of wheat beer. At 5.1% ABV, it sits in the ideal range for a beer you'll want to return to regularly. The dry finish delivers a clean, elegant conclusion. Breugem emerged in 2013 as a continuation of the original social brewery. Master brewer Patrick Breugem, brewing since 2004 at several respected Dutch breweries, co-founded the company with Vincent Buijs and Paul Riteco. The brewery pursues sustainable practices and sources local ingredients where possible, now operating from the Breugem Meeting Point in Amsterdam's Houthavens.
