Brewlok's Mamin-Sibiryak is an ambitious series in which each chapter forms a separate story from Russian literature. This third instalment is a full-bodied Russian Imperial Stout at 13.9% ABV, matured in unique Pedro Ximenez sherry casks that once held Spain's finest dessert wine. Maturation in these distinctive casks imparts a rich, warming character with hints of dried fruit and subtle sherry undertones. This is a stout that seeks balance between its considerable strength and noble finish, befitting the literary ambitions of the Voronezh brewery.
