Mühlen Kölsch is brewed by Brauerei zur Malzmühle, a Cologne brewery with roots stretching back to 1858. Made to a traditional family recipe using the brewery's own well water and natural raw materials, this Kölsch stands out for its fuller character and deeper golden colour than many peers. The beer delivers a distinctive malty strength balanced by moderate spicy hop notes, crafted with German noble hops. On the palate, pilsner malt flavours meet restrained hop bitterness, finishing dry with a medium-light body that makes it approachable and easy to drink. The brewery intentionally limits shelf life to 120 days, preserving the beer's unmistakable full flavour and freshness. A classic choice in Cologne's traditional brewpub culture.
