About
Brauerei Aldersbach has brewed this Weizen from a tradition rooted in 1120, when the monastery was founded. The Kloster Weisse is an authentic expression of German Weizen style: robust and forceful with distinctive malt and yeast character. Pours clear golden with a full, persistent head. The aroma showcases classic Weizen traits: clove and white pepper from the yeast, balanced by bready wheat malt, hints of citrus and bubblegum. On the palate, bready and wheat malt lead, joined by green apple and pear notes, with subtle toasted malt undertones. The finish is clean and dry with a pleasant bitter edge. Medium body and high carbonation deliver a crisp, lively mouthfeel characteristic of the style.
