Brasserie des Rocs Blanche des Honnelles

Blanche des Honnelles

About

Blanche des Honnelles is a witbier from Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs, a pioneering Belgian microbrewery established in 1979 in Audregnies. Brewed with barley, wheat and oats, this beer achieves a fuller body and creamier mouthfeel than typical wheat beers. At 6% ABV, the strength is deceptively well concealed. The aroma presents spiced notes with coriander and a hint of citrus. The palate opens with sweet, bready malt reminiscent of banana bread, followed by fruity and floral character with orange notes. The finish is clean and not sharp, despite the lively carbonation. Abbaye des Rocs adheres to traditional all-grain brewing, using only hops, malt, water, yeast and spices in its beers.
