Vulpes is a formidable Imperial Stout from Wander Beyond Brewing, the Manchester-based English brewery known since 2017 for bold and inventive beers. At 15% ABV, this is a thick, syrupy stout packed with dark malt character. The nose reveals intensely roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee, complemented by fruity notes of forest berries and currants. On the palate, rich, sweet malt flavours dominate with pronounced cocoa, toffee and roasted bread, while berry fruitiness emerges subtly beneath. This is a full-bodied, viscous stout with warming alcohol presence. The finish lingers long with burnt notes and chocolate.
