Moment Supreme from Van Moll is a saison matured for eight months in white wine barrels from a French vineyard. The Eindhoven brewery crafted this beer to showcase the interplay between farmhouse ale character and wine-barrel sophistication. Pilsner, Munich and wheat malt form the foundation, with oat flakes and Tomahawk hops adding texture and definition. The beer reveals subtle layers: grain sweetness, herbal hop notes and a gentle tartness that builds through the palate. The white wine aging emerges most distinctly in the finish, where dry tannins and vineyard-like minerality linger. A contemplative pour, best enjoyed slowly and paired with cheese or as an aperitif.
