About
Naparbier's debut oude gueuze was blended at Brouwerij De Troch in Wambeek, Belgium. This traditional blend of young and old lambics undergoes bottle conditioning for added complexity and character. The aroma presents a compelling mix of tartness, funky notes, and fruit—green apple, lemon zest and orange peel emerge distinctly. On the palate, characteristic gueuze sourness takes the lead, joined by dry wood, musty undertones from extended aging, and a mouth-puckering quality typical of authentic lambic blends. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation, this gueuze balances acidity and wood influence, finishing dry with a lingering aftertaste that reflects its careful blend of vintages.
