About
Ferme de Bertinchamps crafts this tripel using traditional farmhouse methods, with only malt, hops, water and yeast—no spices or additives. The Humblet family established the brewery in 2013 within a 700-year-old restored farm in Gembloux, continuing a brewing heritage passed down through generations. The tripel appears cloudy and amber with a white foam head. Clove and coriander spice notes lead the palate, accompanied by pear and brown sugar. Medium body masks the 8% ABV elegantly, making this tripel approachable despite its strength. Pure malt and hop simplicity define the character—a straightforward, honest Belgian tripel that reflects the brewery's commitment to quality through authenticity.
