Yuzu Crusher from Holy Goat Brewing is a golden sour ale at 5.9% ABV from Scotland. After three months of primary fermentation, the beer was refermented and conditioned with the juice and zest of Japanese yuzu. Brewed with local Scottish malts and fermented with the brewery's house Brettanomyces blend, known for citrus and tropical fruit characteristics. This is a tart, refreshing beer with lemon at the forefront and tropical fruit notes throughout. The tartness carries into the finish. Beneath the acidity, malt sweetness and resinous hop structure provide balance without overwhelming the palate.
