This powerful Christmas ale is brewed with pale malt, white rock candy and Nugget hops from nearby Poperinge. Fermentation takes place in open copper vessels, followed by extended maturation. At 12% alcohol, this is a full-bodied, layered tripel that reveals itself gradually. The nose shows yeast and alcohol warmth, then fruity notes emerge.
