Serving Hops is a Double New England IPA from Catalonian brewery Cervesa Espiga, brewed at 8.5% ABV. The brewery began as nomadic brewers before establishing their own facility near Barcelona in Sant Llorenç, where they focus on organic and natural craft beer. This beer showcases Citra and Ekuanot hop varieties in a juicy, aromatic expression. The beer presents a golden hue with a white head. Aromatically, ripe pineapple and mango lead the way, supported by citrus notes and a subtle piney undertone. On the palate, tropical fruit and citrus flavours dominate, balanced by a gentle pine bitterness that complements rather than overwhelms the fruit-forward character.
