About
Jenlain Blonde is the blonde sibling of the renowned Jenlain Ambrée, brewed by Brasserie Duyck in northern France. Created in 2005, this special ale follows traditional Bière de Garde methods, using top fermentation at warmer temperatures to develop its distinctive character. The nose reveals honey and citrus notes with hints of fresh-mown grass. On the palate, sweetness dominates—with flavours of buttered biscuit and honey—balanced by restrained hop bitterness. The finish is crisp and dry, with a light hoppy dryness that refreshes without overwhelming. At 6.8% ABV with fine, champagne-like carbonation, this is a full-bodied blonde ale that reflects the authentic brewing tradition of French farmhouse ales.
