About
Grevensteiner Oerpilsener is a naturally cloudy country beer from Veltins brewery in Grevenstein, Germany. Brewed under the German Purity Law of 1516 using only water, malt, hops and yeast, this bottom-fermented lager is bottled in the brewery's distinctive bulbous 'stubby' bottle—a visual tribute to its brewing heritage. An amber-hued beer with a malty, lightly spiced nose and notes of biscuit and caramel. The palate is robust and grain-forward with a pleasant bitterness and crisp finish. The natural haze and full body give this beer an unpretentious, rustic character that reflects its roots stretching back to 1824.
