Tama from The Garden Brewery in Zagreb is an Imperial Stout built on indulgence. Brewed with malted barley, wheat, oats and lactose, it incorporates cacao nibs, biscuit flavouring and sea salt to create a layered sweet profile. The aroma opens with waffle biscuits, cocoa and caramel notes. On the palate, salted caramel brings a subtle savoury edge that rounds out the sweetness rather than overwhelming it. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, coating the mouth much like a mocha, with a slightly sharp finish that prevents the beer from becoming cloying. At 8.1% ABV, it drinks as a dessert beer rather than a heavyweight imperial.
