Grimbergen Blond is a classic Belgian blonde ale from Alken-Maes brewery, which has continued the abbey's brewing tradition since 1958. Brewed with Gatinais barley and carefully selected hops, complemented by rye malt and coriander, this ale undergoes double fermentation to achieve balance between malt and hop character with soft, fruity notes. The beer displays a clear golden hue beneath a robust white head. The aroma features yeast and fruit with spicy undertones. On the palate, malt sweetness mingles with wheat notes and pleasant hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, dry and smooth with good carbonation.
