The Original Pinkus Münstersch Alt is a deliberate blend of fresh pale amber altbier with medium bitterness and a portion of aged beer—a notably traditional approach that sets Münster's interpretation apart from the better-known Düsseldorf altbier. The beer is bright and pale yellow with creamy white foam. The nose is restrained and cleanly malty.
