Viva la Vida is an Imperial Weizen at 9.8% alc. vol., born from an extraordinary collaboration of 84 Dutch breweries united in support of the ALS Foundation. The beer honours the memory of a beloved member of the Beer Geeks community. Matured on Palo Santo wood and finished with orange peel, this beer delivers fruity and hoppy notes balanced by 44 IBU of bitterness. A single 2000-litre base batch yielded five distinct fruity variations, each with its own character. The project drew contributions from suppliers across the industry—from Yakima Chief Hops to Dingemans Maltery—making it a true collective endeavour.
