Gueuzerie Tilquin's Oude Gueuze à l'Ancienne is a spontaneously fermented beer blended from 1-, 2- and 3-year-old lambics. Unfiltered and unpasteurised, it undergoes at least 6 months of bottle refermentation, capturing the classic hallmarks of authentic gueuze: bright, tart and layered. The nose reveals citrus notes with a fresh, lemony character. On the palate, the sourness emerges gracefully, supported by Brettanomyces hints of tropical fruit, chamomile and floral tones. Earthy and grassy undertones add complexity without overwhelming drinkability. This is not an over-soured gueuze, but a refined, balanced expression of Walloon craft brewing tradition.
