Braurausch is a collaboration between two Franconian breweries: Brauerei Eichhorn and Brauerei Wagner. This naturally cloudy Kellerbier is brewed with three different malts and cold-hopped, delivering a crisp and grassy character. The beer displays a dark orange to brownish hue with a sturdy foam. The nose shows sweet malt, floral and fruity notes, backed by grassy hop aromas. On the palate, roasted malt, caramel sweetness and blueberry notes meet with pleasant grassy hop bitterness that carries into the finish. At 5.2% alcohol, this is an approachable, well-balanced Kellerbier suited to barbecue and casual drinking.
