Bontekoe Padde Dubbel is a Belgian dubbel from Muifelbrouwerij, brewed to 8% ABV. This is a malty, dark ale with layers of brown sugar, dried fruit and caramel notes, complemented by subtle yeast-derived character. The finish is dry with mild bitterness. The dubbel style traces its modern form to 19th-century Trappist brewing traditions. Padde offers a straightforward expression of this classic Belgian type, best enjoyed at around 8°C.
