Sint Norbertus is an amber ale brewed by Berne Abdijbier, the brewery of the Netherlands' oldest surviving monastic community. This beer was specially crafted to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the Norbertine order. At 7.5% ABV and brewed using traditional methods, it combines barley malt, oat malt, spices and English hops into a balanced composition. The beer displays a golden-yellow colour with subtle sweetness and spiced notes. Top fermentation contributes fruity characteristics, while the malty foundation delivers full flavour. This jubilee beer was released in a distinctive 1.5-litre magnum bottle.
