Failure Drill is a New England IPA from Swedish craft brewer Apex Brewing Company in Örebro, known for handcrafted hop-forward beers. At 6.5% ABV, this hazy ale combines Idaho 7 and Nelson Sauvin hops with a soft, murky body built on pale malt, malted and unmalted oats, and raw wheat. The aroma leads with tropical fruit, white grape and citrus notes. On the palate, yellow stone fruit, grapefruit and a slightly earthy, resinous hop character emerge, balanced by subtle biscuit malt.
