De Achelse Kluis Achel Dubbel
8%

About

Achel Dubbel is a dark abbey ale from De Achelse Kluis, a Trappist monastery in Hamont-Achel on the Belgian-Dutch border. At 8% ABV, this beer balances sweet malt character with subtle hop bitterness. The beer presents an amber-brown colour topped by a creamy, lasting head. On the nose, caramel malt and yeasty notes emerge alongside light hop character. The palate reveals caramel, brown sugar and dark fruit flavours with hints of spice, finishing dry and measured. De Achelse Kluis has brewed within its abbey walls since 1850. This dubbel represents the core of Belgian Trappist brewing tradition.
