1410 is an amber ale from De Proefbrouwerij, an independent Belgian brewery founded in 1996 and recognised for its brewing expertise. The beer was first brewed in 2010 to mark a 600-year anniversary. At 5.5% ABV with measured bitterness, 1410 strikes a balanced flavour profile. The brew combines Pilsner and Caramel malts with a blend of American hop varieties—Galena, Chinook, Cascade, Simcoe and Amarillo—delivering a layered bitter finish of 63 IBU. An approachable amber ale with bright character and well-defined hop bitterness.
