Cuijkse Brouwbrigade

The Cuijkse Brouwbrigade is a craft brewery founded in 2018 in Cuijk, a historic fortified town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The brewery was established by three passionate homebrewers — among them René Haring and Marcel — who shared a love for crafting contemporary beers with a nod to local tradition and their own region. Their motto, "Eigentijds, Eigenzinnig, Eigen Streek" (Contemporary, Idiosyncratic, Own Region), captures the spirit behind every brew they produce. The Cuijkse Brouwbrigade focuses on modern, flavour-forward beers that reflect both craft brewing creativity and regional identity. Their portfolio includes diverse beer styles, ranging from stouts to specialty beers brewed with distinctive ingredients. One notable example is a beer crafted in collaboration with Vincent Mastail, inspired by Moluccan heritage and brewed with Eastern spices such as sereh, reflecting a refined balance of flavours rooted in the multicultural community of Cuijk. The brewery has also collaborated with other regional brewers, including a joint stout project with Wilskracht Stadsbrouwerij from Ravenstein — a style with deep roots in English brewing tradition. The Cuijkse Brouwbrigade is a regular participant at local beer festivals such as the PROEFlokaal Bierfestival, where they share their beers alongside fellow craft breweries from the Land van Cuijk region.
