Essener Braumanufaktur is a craft brewing project founded in late 2021 by two brewing enthusiasts, both born and raised in Essen, Germany. Driven by a deep passion for beer, they set out to create a small-scale brewing operation rooted in their home city. The project has grown steadily since its inception, bringing locally inspired beers to the Essen area and beyond. The brewery focuses on a concise but carefully crafted portfolio, with three beer styles available on the market. Their range includes a Wiener Lager, a style with roots in the Viennese lager tradition, as well as dark, malt-forward ales that showcase earthy and subtly sweet malt character. The Essener Braumanufaktur approach reflects a hands-on, artisanal brewing philosophy, emphasising quality and flavour over volume. Though still a young brewery, Essener Braumanufaktur has attracted attention from beer enthusiasts on platforms such as Untappd and Pint Please, building a small but dedicated following.
